So I checked my mileage on the car last night: 32.4 mpg in mixed driving!
Usually I average 26-28 mpg depending on how hard I drive it (never driven nicely), so this was quite exciting. Makes me want to drive it normal for a week and see what I can pull.

For a car that’s rated 19 city/24 hwy.........
Granted I do have one extra gear than the car that rating is for ( looks like 18 city/26 hwy for the 4 speed cars ).

I doubt it’ll happen. I usually make it til 1/2 tank and say screw it.

I got 90s Mopars, that time has already passed:

I did that with bmw. For 7 data I drove very conservatively, never over 4000RPM, and set my cruise at 57 instead of 63. I gig gain about 3 mpg. But was it worth it? No, no it wasn’t

My ‘93 F150 gets pretty much the same mileage no matter how it’s driven. Granted, even driving it “hard” is still pretty slow

Huh. If I do mostly highway driving I can get 35+ from my Golf. Once I saw 40 with babying.
Last tank I got about 12 though.

Beating it continuous I still pull mid 20s. I’d love to get it on the highway and see what it does all highway.
The best mileage we’ve ever had from a V6 sedan was our 1990 Buick Century with the 3.3L 4-speed. The wife regularly averaged 36-39 mpg in that car in mixed driving.

Thanks to the torque of the 3.0 I can drive conservatively and it never has to rev over 3k. I usually set cruise at 59 mph or 72 mph depending on which roads I take to work and it’s about a 50/50 mix of city/hwy. I tend to kill my mileage on most tanks because I love letting her wind out to get up to speed and the 2nd gear chirps make me giggle.

That’s my van. It maybe drops by a couple mpgs if I drive it really hard, otherwise it hovers around 18.5 mpg ( regardless of where/how it’s driven ) with the ATs and the basket on top. Since I pulled the basket for body work, I’ve gained a couple mpgs back.
When I had the stock wheels back on it while waiting for tires I was pulling steady 24-26 mpg. It almost made me want to go back to a “normal” setup on it, but I love the capability too much.

Yeah the whole store for 10 years and not running thing is not great. I’d gladly pay 2500 for it. But I’m a sucker

Inside kinda looks like a mess, not running, so who knows what else is wrong. Under $1k I’d consider it, but I’m cheap.......
